Ukraine Targets Black Sea Oil Terminals Amid Russian Drone Barrage
Ukraine has launched a series of strikes on Black Sea oil terminals, significantly impacting Russia's energy infrastructure. This action follows the end of a temporary ceasefire for Russia's Victory Day Parade. Ukraine's General Staff reported that the strikes targeted key facilities, including the Tamanneftegaz terminal near the Kerch Strait, which is crucial for storage, transshipment, and export of oil and liquefied gases. Concurrently, Russia has launched what is described as the largest sustained drone barrage of the war, deploying over 1,428 drones and decoys in a 24-hour period. The attacks have targeted multiple regions in Ukraine, including the capital, Kyiv, and the port infrastructure in Odesa. These developments mark a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict, with both sides intensifying their military campaigns.
