Pembina State Museum Hosts Family-Friendly Historical Events in May
The Pembina State Museum in North Dakota is organizing a series of free, family-friendly events throughout May to engage the community with the region's historical games and skills. These events are part of the ND250 commemoration, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States. The museum will host activities every Saturday, including making a model Red River oxcart on May 9, exploring historical dice games on May 16, and the grand opening of a new children's play space, The Little Grove, on May 23. Additionally, on May 30, visitors can learn about prehistoric hunting tools and test their skills with bows, arrows, and spear-throwers. The museum, managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota, aims to provide educational and interactive experiences for families, with children required to be accompanied by an adult.
