NASA Hosts Artemis II Crew Postflight Conference Following Historic Lunar Mission
NASA is set to host a postflight news conference for the Artemis II crew at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. The conference will feature NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen, who will discuss their recent mission around the Moon. The crew returned to Earth on April 10, after a successful splashdown off the coast of San Diego, and are currently undergoing postflight evaluations. The Artemis II mission, launched on April 1, achieved several objectives, including testing life support systems, manually piloting the Orion spacecraft, and conducting a lunar flyby. The mission set a record for the farthest distance traveled by humans from Earth.
