Moldova Recalls Ambassador from Moscow After Drone Crash Incident
Moldova has recalled its ambassador to Russia, Lilian Darii, for consultations following a drone crash on Moldovan territory. The incident occurred on August 9 in the border village of Crocmaz, near the Ukrainian port city of Odesa, which was targeted by Russia in a large-scale attack. Moldovan authorities reported that the drone caused a fire and damaged buildings in the Stefan Voda district. This marks the first time such aircraft have been identified on Moldovan territory, representing a serious violation of Moldova's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
