North Texas Experiences Storms Ahead of Cooler Easter Weather
North Texas was hit by a cold front overnight, resulting in lightning, thunder, heavy rain, and gusty winds. The strongest storm activity is expected to move into East Texas by late morning, with rain tapering off by the afternoon. Temperatures are forecasted to dip into the 50s before rebounding into the 60s later in the day. Easter Sunday is expected to be cooler, with temperatures starting in the upper 40s to 50 degrees in the morning, rising to the low 70s by the afternoon. Breezy northeasterly winds and partly cloudy skies are anticipated, making it a pleasant day for outdoor activities.
