Two Teen Girls Killed in Victorville Crash, Suspected Street Racing Under Investigation
Maddalyn Dailey, 17, and her best friend, Isabell Hill, 16, were killed in a tragic car crash in Victorville, California, when their vehicle was struck by two speeding muscle cars. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is investigating whether the drivers of a yellow Chevrolet Camaro and a black Dodge Charger were engaged in a street race at the time of the incident. According to the CHP, Maddalyn's Acura was hit first by the Camaro, causing significant damage, followed by the Charger. The driver of the Charger has been arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence, while the driver of the Camaro fled the scene, leaving behind a juvenile passenger. A witness reported seeing both vehicles speeding prior to the collision, and investigators are gathering evidence to confirm if street racing was a factor.
