Nefesh B'Nefesh to Receive Award for Impact on Israel's National Development
Nefesh B'Nefesh, an organization dedicated to facilitating aliyah (Jewish immigration to Israel), will be honored with the Jerusalem Post Award at the upcoming Jerusalem Post Annual Conference in New York on June 1. Since its inception in 2002, the organization has assisted nearly 100,000 new immigrants, maintaining a 90% retention rate. Nefesh B'Nefesh collaborates with various Israeli institutions, including the Aliyah and Integration Ministry and the Jewish Agency for Israel, to address critical national needs such as healthcare shortages and workforce gaps. The organization also supports lone soldiers and National Service volunteers through various programs. Its flagship initiative, the International Medical Aliyah Program, helps medical professionals integrate into Israel's healthcare system, particularly in underserved regions.
