Teen Accused of Stabbing Horses at Las Vegas Rodeo Faces Adult Charges
A 17-year-old girl has been arrested for allegedly stabbing three horses at the National Barrel Horse Association's supershow in Las Vegas. The incident occurred at the South Point equestrian arena, where the suspect reportedly used a sharp object to injure the horses, including one named Detail. The injuries, while not life-threatening, will prevent the horses from competing. The Clark County district attorney is seeking to try the teen as an adult on charges of animal cruelty and malicious destruction of property. The suspect had been following one of the horse owners on social media and allegedly used the event as an opportunity to meet her.
