World Economic Forum Invites Emine Erdoğan to Speak on Zero Waste Vision
The World Economic Forum (WEF) has extended an invitation to Emine Erdoğan, the honorary president of the Zero Waste Foundation, to deliver the opening speech at the Sustainable Development Impact Meetings 2026 in New York. This event, organized by WEF's Nature and Climate Centre and Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains Centre, will focus on the strategic role of the circular economy in industrial competitiveness, supply chain resilience, resource security, and sustainable growth. The meeting will be attended by approximately 25 high-level leaders, including Turkish ministers. Emine Erdoğan's participation underscores the collaboration between the Zero Waste Foundation and WEF, aiming to strengthen international partnerships in circular economy initiatives.
