Lois Frankel and Victoria Doyle Debate for Florida's District 23 Seat, Highlighting Key Issues
In a recent candidates' forum in Riviera Beach, Florida, Congresswoman Lois Frankel and congressional candidate Victoria Doyle engaged in a one-on-one debate. The event, hosted by the When We All Vote Palm Beach County Voting Squad, was intended to include all six candidates for Florida's newly redistricted Congressional District 23, but only Frankel and Doyle attended. During the debate, both candidates expressed their views on various issues, including criticism of President Trump, Republicans, and the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Frankel emphasized her experience in Congress and her commitment to redirecting tax dollars from war and ICE towards affordable housing and healthcare. Doyle, positioning herself as a candidate for progressive change, stressed the need for new leadership and criticized the current administration for failing to pass meaningful legislation. The primary election is scheduled for August 18.
