Indianapolis Police Investigate Four Shootings in 75 Minutes, Resulting in One Death
Indianapolis police responded to four separate shooting incidents within a span of 75 minutes on Monday night, resulting in the death of one woman and injuries to three other adults. The first incident occurred at The Residences on 56th Street, where a woman was found with gunshot wounds and later died. A suspect was arrested, and the shooting is believed to have stemmed from a domestic dispute. A child was present in the home during the incident. The second shooting took place at an apartment on Lynwood Avenue, where an adult was found injured and is currently in stable condition. Two additional shootings occurred near each other on East 46th Street and North Arlington Avenue, involving a large shootout. Two men were injured and are in stable condition. Police are investigating whether these incidents are connected.
