Toronto Jewish Community Intensifies Search for Missing Teen Esther
The Toronto Jewish community, along with the Toronto Police Service, is actively searching for a 14-year-old girl named Esther, who has been missing for a week. The search efforts continued through the Shavuot holiday, with volunteers manning a hotline and search operations headquarters. Esther was last seen in the Earl Bales Park area and later spotted in the Bathurst Street and Hotspur Road area. She was wearing a turquoise sweater, grey sweatpants, and no shoes at the time of her disappearance. Esther's parents have publicly appealed for her return, assuring her that she is not in trouble. The community has been distributing flyers and conducting searches, with political leaders also raising awareness about the case.
