IDF Advances in Southern Lebanon, Targets Hezbollah Infrastructure
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are actively advancing in southern Lebanon, focusing on dismantling Hezbollah's military infrastructure. According to reports, the IDF has destroyed nearly 500 Hezbollah sites, including caves and homes, uncovering significant caches of weapons and supplies. The operation aims to push Hezbollah operatives beyond the Litani River and reduce missile fire toward northern Israeli communities. The IDF has found extensive underground facilities containing weapons such as RPGs, assault rifles, and anti-tank missiles, as well as logistical supplies for prolonged stays. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to establish a security zone and prevent attacks on Israeli territory.
