Murfreesboro Police Detective Indicted for Theft and Misconduct
Reginal D. Primas, a detective with the Murfreesboro Police Department, has been indicted following a joint investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury. The investigation revealed that Primas used confidential police funds for personal purchases, falsified government documents, and accessed the Criminal Justice Portal for unauthorized purposes. The Rutherford County grand jury charged Primas with theft, forgery, falsifying government documents, and official misconduct. He was arrested and booked into the Rutherford County jail on a $25,000 bond.
