Trump Administration Faces Setbacks in Sanctuary City Cases, Secures Rare Win in Virginia
The Trump administration recently experienced two more defeats in federal district courts regarding its efforts to challenge sanctuary city policies. In *United States v. New Jersey*, a federal court upheld New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill's Executive Order No. 12, which restricts federal immigration enforcement officers from accessing nonpublic areas of state government property for civil immigration law enforcement.
