Small Plane Crash in Texas Hill Country Results in Five Fatalities
A small plane crash in Wimberley, Texas, resulted in the deaths of all five individuals on board. The incident occurred on Thursday night when a Cessna 421C, traveling from Amarillo to New Braunfels National Airport, crashed in a wooded area. The victims were members of the Amarillo Pickleball Club, en route to a tournament. The crash happened around 11:25 p.m., and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating. Weather conditions were mostly cloudy at the time, with a thunderstorm reported two hours later. The plane was flying alongside another aircraft, which landed safely.
