Scott Lutgert Recognized as 2026 NDN Outstanding Citizen of the Year for Contributions to Southwest Florida
Scott Lutgert has been honored as the 2026 Naples Daily News Outstanding Citizen of the Year. The recognition took place on April 16 at The Club at Olde Cypress in Naples, during an event organized by the Greater Naples Chamber and Naples Daily News. Lutgert, a long-time resident and real estate developer in Southwest Florida, has been instrumental in the development of Park Shore, where his companies have completed numerous luxury beachfront high-rises. Michael Wynn, president of Sunshine Ace Hardware and chairman of Wynn Family Cos., praised Lutgert for his results-driven approach and his preference for staying out of the spotlight. Lutgert's contributions to the region have been significant since he became a resident in 1970.
