Philadelphia Man Arrested for Carrying AR-Style Pistol in Public

The arrest was made by the Gun Violence Task Force, which observed Artis transferring firearms to an unauthorized individual. District Attorney Larry Krasner emphasized the intimidating nature of Artis's actions, describing them as 'frightening' and 'disturbing.' Artis faces charges related to the illegal transfer of firearms. Councilmember Quetcy Lozada expressed relief over the arrest, highlighting the importance of removing illegal weapons from the streets to ensure community safety.
