CommonSpirit Health Market President Janelle Reilly Announces Retirement
Janelle Reilly, the Market President and CEO of CommonSpirit Health Tennessee and Georgia, is retiring after a 37-year career in healthcare. Reilly has led CommonSpirit operations in Tennessee and North Georgia for the past decade. Her tenure included overseeing the campus at the former Memorial Hospital and the Northwest Georgia campus on Battlefield Parkway. She was also the CEO of CHI Memorial when it became part of the CommonSpirit brand. CommonSpirit officials, including South Region President Matt Brown, acknowledged her 'extraordinary leadership' and commitment to compassionate care, stating that her legacy would continue to impact the communities she served. Reilly's career also included leadership roles in Illinois and Idaho before her move to Chattanooga, and she holds a master’s degree in health/healthcare administration/management from the University of Missouri–Columbia. She was instrumental in spearheading expansion efforts, such as plans for a community hospital in North Georgia.
