Voting Access For All Coalition Expands Voter Education and Art Initiatives in Michigan
The Voting Access For All Coalition (VAAC) is actively engaging communities across Michigan through a series of events aimed at voter education and registration. VAAC ambassadors have been participating in neighborhood gatherings, community forums, and creative events to provide nonpartisan voter education and help eligible community members register to vote. A significant initiative is the Voting Rights Community Art Project, a collaborative installation that will be part of ArtPrize 2026 in Grand Rapids. This project involves community members creating art pieces reflecting on voting rights and democracy, which will be exhibited at Fountain Street Church from September 17 to October 3, 2026. VAAC's efforts also include participation in events like the African World Festival and the Flint Mayoral Panel Series, where they provide voter information and registration support.
