Idaho Domino's Driver's Kind Gesture Results in $40K in Tips After Viral Video
Dan Simpson, a 68-year-old Domino's delivery driver in Boise, Idaho, became the recipient of over $40,000 in donations after a video of his kind gesture went viral. Simpson, who also works for the Idaho Department of Agriculture, went out of his way to purchase Diet Cokes for a customer when the restaurant ran out. The customer, Brian Wilson, was unable to answer Simpson's call for a substitute, prompting Simpson to buy the sodas from a nearby store. This act of kindness was captured on video and shared on TikTok, where it garnered significant attention. Wilson, moved by Simpson's gesture, started a GoFundMe campaign to support Simpson, who is nearing retirement and has faced financial struggles. The campaign has nearly reached its $45,000 goal.
