Air Peace to Launch Direct Flights from Ogun to London This Summer
Air Peace, Nigeria's largest airline, is set to launch direct flights from Gateway International Airport in Ogun to London this summer. The service will connect Ogun to Gatwick and Heathrow airports, marking a significant development for the state's aviation sector. The airline's CEO, Allen Onyema, emphasized the strategic importance of utilizing the well-equipped airport facilities. The Ogun state government has broader plans to expand the airport's ecosystem, including the construction of an international conference center and a five-star hotel. Cargo operations have already commenced, with more airlines expected to join.
