Unstable Conditions Hit South Florida With Double Fronts
On Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, South Florida experiences unsettled weather as two cold fronts move through. The first front arrived early, causing showers, a few thunderstorms, and gusts near 30 mph, with some areas seeing up to an inch of rain. A second front arrives this afternoon, bringing additional scattered storms, mainly south of Lake Okeechobee. Cooler, drier air moves in tonight, dropping overnight lows into the upper 50s inland. Tuesday will be breezy with highs in the mid-70s, and dry, cooler conditions are expected through the rest of the week.
