Ukrainian Navy Strikes Russian Drone Factory with Neptune Missiles, Disrupting Production
Ukraine's Naval Forces conducted a precision strike on a Russian drone factory in Taganrog, Rostov Oblast, using Neptune cruise missiles. The attack, which occurred overnight on April 19, targeted the production facilities of Atlant Aero, a company involved in the design and manufacture of Molniya-type strike-reconnaissance UAVs and components for Orion drones. The strike resulted in a fire at the facility, which is located approximately 40-50 km from Ukraine's state border. This operation is part of a broader Ukrainian campaign to degrade Russia's military production capabilities, which are crucial for sustaining strikes on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure. The attack also targeted ammunition depots, logistics warehouses, and fuel infrastructure across occupied Ukrainian territories.
