Israeli Authorities Uncover Suspected Money Laundering Network Using Real Estate Vouchers
Israeli authorities have moved to the overt phase of an investigation into a suspected international financial crime network. The network is alleged to have laundered hundreds of millions of shekels through fictitious companies, false invoices, and real estate payment vouchers. The investigation, led by the Jerusalem District Police central unit's fraud department and the Jerusalem and Southern Districts Income Tax Investigations Office, has resulted in the arrest of three central suspects.
