Tornado Outbreak and Severe Weather Impact Central U.S.
A series of tornadoes and severe storms have struck the central U.S., causing widespread damage across multiple states. The storms, which began on Friday, have resulted in significant destruction in areas such as Rochester, Minnesota, and Marathon County, Wisconsin. In Minnesota, tornadoes damaged numerous homes, while in Wisconsin, the town of Ringle experienced extensive damage with homes demolished. Despite the destruction, no fatalities have been reported. The severe weather has also led to power outages affecting thousands of homes and businesses across Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Oklahoma. The National Weather Service is conducting damage assessments in the affected areas.
