Roanoke Police Investigate Fatal Hit-and-Run Incident Involving Moped Driver
In Roanoke, Virginia, a fatal hit-and-run incident occurred shortly before midnight on March 31, 2026. A pickup truck collided with a moped on the 1100 block of Orange Avenue NE, resulting in the death of the moped driver. The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene, leaving the moped driver with severe injuries that led to his death.
