President Trump Visits China for Summit, Preceding Putin's Scheduled Visit

This visit comes just days before Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing on May 19-20. Putin's visit will coincide with the 25th anniversary of the Treaty of Good-Neighbourliness and Friendly Cooperation between Russia and China, highlighting the deepening ties between the two nations. The Kremlin has stated that discussions will include economic cooperation and strategic partnerships, as well as international and regional matters.
