Alan Becker DDS Passes Away, Leaves Legacy of Kindness and Generosity
Alan L. Becker, a respected dentist from Oak Park, passed away peacefully at home on April 23, 2026, with his wife Andrea by his side. Becker, who was married to Andrea for nearly 56 years, is survived by his children Kirk, Stephanie, and Blythe, and his grandchildren Nadia, Ilyana, Jackson, Caroline, Charlotte, Nora, Emmett, Rhett, and Phaedra. He was predeceased by his son Chad in 2016. Before becoming a dentist, Becker taught high school and junior college. He was known for his passion for lab work and his dedication to his patients. Beyond his professional life, Becker had a wide range of interests including jazz, photography, woodworking, gardening, and biking. His life was marked by kindness and generosity, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home.
