President Kagame Hosts U.S. Congressional Delegation to Discuss Bilateral Cooperation
President Paul Kagame of Rwanda recently hosted a bipartisan delegation from the United States Congress at Urugwiro Village. The delegation, led by Representative Brett Guthrie, Chairman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, engaged in discussions focused on Rwanda's transformation journey and explored ways to deepen bilateral cooperation in areas such as health, energy, and investment. The meeting highlighted Rwanda's development over the past three decades and identified opportunities for expanding cooperation in sectors crucial to Rwanda's economic growth and public service delivery. The delegation included Representatives Troy Carter, Morgan Griffith, Russ Fulcher, Jay Obernolte, Cliff Bentz, Craig Goldman, and Julie Fedorchak.
