Luzerne County Community College Leads Pennsylvania's Skilled Trade Workforce Development through PAWorks Initiative
Luzerne County Community College (LCCC) is spearheading efforts to build Pennsylvania's skilled trade workforce through the PAWorks initiative. This statewide program, led by the Pennsylvania Commission for Community Colleges, aims to address the increasing demand for skilled trade professionals across various industries, including technology, energy, construction, and healthcare. Dr. Russ Bigus, LCCC Vice President of Academic Affairs, emphasized the college's commitment to providing affordable, accessible, and career-focused education that leads directly to employment and long-term career growth.
