Firebird Launches AI Factory in Armenia to Boost Local AI Development
Firebird, an emerging AI cloud company, has launched the largest AI factory in the CIS region, located in Armenia. This facility is designed to provide the necessary computing infrastructure to train, fine-tune, and deploy AI models at scale. The factory is supported by NVIDIA accelerated computing and Dell Technologies' high-performance AI infrastructure. The launch was attended by notable figures including Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia, and David Allen, the U.S. chargé d'affaires in Armenia. Firebird plans to deploy over 70,000 NVIDIA GPUs and 300 megawatts of AI infrastructure capacity by 2027, aiming to position Armenia as a center for AI research and innovation.
