President Trump's Endorsed Candidate Darline Graham Trails in South Carolina Senate Race Poll
A new poll indicates that Darline Graham, endorsed by President Trump for the South Carolina Senate seat, is trailing Democratic nominee Annie Andrews by three percentage points. The poll, released by the Andrews campaign, shows Graham with 39% support compared to Andrews' 42%, with 6% for a third-party candidate and 13% undecided. This development follows Graham's victory in the Republican primary runoff, where she defeated GOP Rep. Ralph Norman by less than five points, despite significant financial backing from President Trump's super PAC, which spent $827,000. Graham's campaign has faced scrutiny after she admitted that 'national security is not my thing' during a debate, an issue that was not effectively clarified. Furthermore, Rep. Norman has refused to endorse Graham, expressing shock at the amount spent to defeat him and encouraging undecided voters to 'vote for Ralph Norman.'
