Parker Fire Department Investigates Vacant Home Fire in Greenville, South Carolina
The Parker Fire Department responded to a house fire early Tuesday morning on Dyer Street in Greenville, South Carolina. Crews were dispatched around 4:30 a.m. to a single-story home that was vacant and without power when the fire erupted. Upon arrival, firefighters found the home fully engulfed in flames. Approximately 15 firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze, and the scene was cleared by 7 a.m. No injuries were reported, but the home is considered a total loss. According to the deputy fire chief, there had been previous incidents reported at the property. The Berea Fire Department assisted in the response, and the Parker District Fire Marshal’s Office will conduct an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
