Houston-Area YouTuber Stabbed While Livestreaming at Clear Lake Boat Ramp
Austin Lewis, a Houston-area YouTuber known as Captain Crunch Boats, was stabbed at a Clear Lake boat ramp while livestreaming. Lewis, who has over 34,000 subscribers and documents boaters at local ramps, believes sharing his location during the livestream may have made him a target. The incident occurred when Lewis was engaged in a verbal altercation with a boater, and an attacker, fully masked with a balaclava, black long-sleeve shirt, black pants, and brown boots, approached him from behind and stabbed him. Lewis suspects the attack was premeditated and possibly carried out by someone he had previously featured on his channel. This is not Lewis's first dangerous encounter; he has experienced numerous physical and verbal altercations and had a knife pulled on him once before, though this was the first time he was stabbed. The attack has prompted Lewis to reconsider his livestreaming practices, stating he will be more cautious about sharing live footage from public locations.
