American Cancer Society Launches New Journal for Pediatric and Young Adult Cancer Research
The American Cancer Society (ACS) has announced the launch of a new medical journal, Pediatric, Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer, dedicated to advancing research in cancers affecting children, adolescents, and young adults. This open-access journal will feature peer-reviewed research and content on prevention, early detection, treatment, and survivorship in pediatric and AYA oncology. Dr. Nirali N. Shah, a physician-scientist at the National Cancer Institute, has been appointed as the inaugural editor-in-chief. The journal aims to provide a platform for researchers, clinicians, and advocates to share discoveries and advance knowledge in the field. It will cover novel treatment approaches, prevention strategies, and AI-driven insights, among other topics.
