Bride-to-Be Arrested for Allegedly Setting Fire at LDS Church Before Wedding
Lenita Joy Moreno, a 25-year-old woman, has been arrested in Kaysville, Utah, for allegedly starting a fire inside a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints building the day before her wedding. The fire caused an estimated $108,000 in damages. Moreno faces charges of aggravated arson, retail theft, and providing false information to a peace officer. The incident occurred on July 10, when family members were preparing the church for the wedding. Moreno allegedly identified herself as Tessa Moran, which is not her legal name. The fire was extinguished by family members using water and a fire extinguisher.
