Philips Survey Reveals AI Tools Enhance Patient Capacity and Efficiency in Healthcare
A recent survey conducted by Philips highlights the growing use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools among healthcare professionals in the United States. According to the Future Health Index 2026 report, more than one-third of clinicians are utilizing AI to increase their patient capacity, with a median of five additional patients seen per week. The survey, which gathered insights from over 2,000 healthcare professionals and 20,000 patients across ten countries, indicates that 74% of clinicians have increased their use of AI-enabled tools provided by their organizations over the past year.
