Arizona Fugitive Arrested at LEGOLAND California After Alleged Assault
Jason Marchesano, a 46-year-old Arizona man, was arrested at LEGOLAND California after allegedly attacking his girlfriend in Yavapai County, Arizona. The incident reportedly involved Marchesano using bedsheets to strangle his girlfriend during an argument in a recreational vehicle. The victim managed to escape and report the assault, with deputies documenting bruising consistent with her account. Marchesano fled Arizona, leading authorities on a search that extended into Nevada and California. His arrest was facilitated by a community tip and the collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies. Marchesano faces charges of attempted second-degree homicide, kidnapping, and aggravated assault, with a court appearance scheduled for July 2 in San Diego.
