Lawmakers Address Rising Costs with Bipartisan Solutions at Cato Institute

He emphasized the impact of compound interest on personal finances, distinguishing between those who benefit from investments and those burdened by debt. Suozzi criticized dismissals of affordability concerns as a 'hoax' and pointed out the concentration of wealth among a smaller portion of the population. Both lawmakers expressed a desire to reform energy project permitting and highlighted successes from a bipartisan housing bill that aims to streamline building processes.
