Ogden Regional Medical Center Launches $77 Million NICU Expansion to Enhance Neonatal Care
Ogden Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, has initiated a $77 million expansion and renovation of its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The project aims to modernize the facility and expand its capacity to provide advanced care for newborns who are premature or have medical complications. The expansion is described as transformational, focusing on creating a more family-centered environment. The NICU, categorized as a Level III unit, is staffed by specialized neonatologists and nurses who provide round-the-clock care. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by hospital staff, physicians, community leaders, and families, marking the beginning of the first phase of the project.
