Rutland Community Health Celebrates Dr. Eitan Sobel's Retirement After 38 Years in Medicine
Dr. Eitan Sobel, a physician who has practiced medicine for 38 years, including 18 years in Vermont and 30 years in the United States, was honored with a surprise retirement party by his colleagues at Rutland Community Health. The event featured a red carpet, a large tent with multiple tables, a buffet, and a bar, attended by many individuals celebrating his career. Dr. Sobel, who graduated from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in 1986, expressed his deep appreciation and surprise at the celebration. He plans to eventually move back to Israel to be with his family, despite his affection for Vermont, which he described as 'paradise on earth.' His career in medicine began when he needed to fund his wife's medical schooling at New York Medical College.
