Security Guard Shoots Alleged Gunman at Atlanta Adult Store
A shooting incident occurred at Tokyo Valentino, an adult store on Cheshire Bridge Road in Atlanta, around 6:11 a.m. on a Saturday. According to the Atlanta Police Department, a verbal dispute between two individuals escalated into gunfire, resulting in a 35-year-old man being shot. During the incident, a security guard at the store intervened and shot the alleged gunman, identified as 23-year-old James Jenkins. Jenkins subsequently fled the scene but later arrived at Northside Hospital in a private vehicle. He was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault. The victim of the initial shooting was transported to the hospital, alert and conscious, and is expected to recover. The identity of the victim, the specific nature of the argument, and whether the firearms used were recovered have not been released by the police.
