Willard Residents Express Concerns Over Proposed Urban Development
Residents of Willard, Missouri, have voiced concerns over a proposed development that could significantly expand the city. The plan involves rezoning a 93.36-acre area from a suburban to an urban district, potentially allowing over 600 new lots if sewage capacity is expanded. Residents fear the rapid growth could overwhelm local infrastructure, including roads and schools. The Greene County Zoning Committee has recommended denying the plan, with a final decision expected from the County Commission on May 4.
