Rainstorm and Fierce Winds Impact California Traffic
A significant rainstorm accompanied by strong winds has struck California, affecting various regions including Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles Times, the adverse weather conditions have led to disruptions on major roadways, including the 110 Freeway. The California Highway Patrol reported a riderless scooter on the freeway, which caused a multi-vehicle collision. The incident occurred near Adams Boulevard, just south of downtown Los Angeles, early Tuesday morning. The scooter, possibly thrown from an overpass, led to several cars being damaged, though no injuries were reported. The weather conditions have been challenging for commuters, with reduced visibility and slippery roads contributing to the hazards.
