Tel Aviv Increases Municipal Parking Fees by 20% Due to Rising Costs
The Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality has announced a 20% increase in parking fees at municipal facilities, effective August 1. This decision, reported by Kan News, affects parking lots managed by Ahuzot HaHof, a company owned by the municipality. The increase is attributed to rising operating and maintenance costs, including wages, security, and municipal taxes. Residents will see their hourly parking rate rise from NIS 5 to NIS 6, while non-residents will pay NIS 24 per hour. The changes also include adjustments to evening parking discounts and extended parking provisions. The Carmel 2 parking facility will remain unaffected by these changes.
