White House Launches Fraud Website to Highlight Task Force Successes
The White House has launched a new website, 'The Fraud Ledger,' to showcase the achievements of the Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, led by Vice President JD Vance. Since its inception in January 2025, the task force has uncovered $229.9 billion in fraud, stopped $56.4 billion annually, and enforced $55.5 billion through legal actions. The website aims to provide a public record of fraud, waste, and corruption identified by the task force. Key areas of focus include Medicaid fraud deferrals, with significant amounts deferred from California and Minnesota. The Small Business Administration and Health and Human Services are among the agencies with the highest fraud uncovered.
