A poll conducted by Cygnal, a national polling group, indicates that 65% of Democrats are less likely to vote for Pratt if he is associated with Trump and the MAGA movement. This is a greater deterrent than his reality TV background, which affects 59% of Democrats negatively. President Trump has shown support for Pratt, although he has not formally endorsed him, possibly to avoid harming Pratt's chances in the Democrat-heavy city. The poll shows Pratt trailing behind Karen Bass, with 22% support compared to Bass's 25%. The race also includes Councilmember Nithya Raman, who has 18% support.
