Qatar Airways Expands Network with New Routes to Bogota and Caracas
Qatar Airways is set to expand its network by launching new routes to Bogota, Colombia, and Caracas, Venezuela, starting in July 2026. The airline will operate a three-leg route connecting Doha’s Hamad International Airport with Bogota’s El Dorado International Airport and Caracas Simon Bolivar International Airport. This service will be conducted twice weekly using Boeing 777-200 aircraft. Qatar Airways will become the first Gulf airline to serve Venezuela, marking a significant development in international airline traffic to the country. This expansion comes as Venezuela adopts a more open stance towards international commercial aviation, following a change in government leadership. The new routes are part of Qatar Airways' broader strategy to enhance connectivity between the Middle East and the Americas.
