Secret Service on High Alert After Shooting Near White House
The Secret Service is on heightened alert following a shooting incident near Lafayette Park, across from the White House. The shooting occurred early Sunday morning, but no injuries were reported, and the suspect remains at large. The Secret Service, in coordination with the Metropolitan Police Department and U.S. Park Police, is actively investigating the incident. The area around Lafayette Park has been fenced off due to ongoing renovations, and security measures have been increased. President Trump was at the White House during the weekend, but the incident did not disrupt normal operations.
